The company called Silutext Limited Liability Company is the legal successor of Silutext Limited Partnership, which was founded in 1995. It is a family-run business possessing a 1,500 square metre company premise located in the village of Helvécia. We operate with three gas-powered melting and heat-retaining furnaces. We produce our aluminium castings in moulds using gravity technology and we cast them with our 160-ton horizontal, high-pressure-based casting machine. The chill-moulds can be moved hydraulically, pneumatically or manually. We clean our moulds with dry ice to guarantee a longer lifespan. The AlSi10Mg aluminium casting can also be heat-treated if required. We have our tool-making partner manufacture the moulds as well as all the casting tools that are required for production, during the process of which traditional and CNC-controlled cutting machines are deployed.
